Clarinet Choir

Please see the following message from Mrs. Holbrook -

Thank you all very much for your interest and involvement in Clarinet Choir this year.  I am pleased with the performances you have played this year. Due to lack of student interest and attendance this past month and due to the fact that Night of the Arts has been canceled,  Clarinet Choir will not meet for the remainder of the school year.

 If you need assistance on your band music or scales, I will be glad to work with you on Tuesday mornings as long as you schedule it with me ahead of time!!

 

Clarinet Choir Rehearsal- Tuesday, January 18

Welcome back after a break due to the snow & ice!  Clarinet Choir will rehearse on Tuesday, January 18 at 8:15 am.  Please make arrangements to attend as we do have an upcoming performance!!

Jazz Band, Flute Choir, & Clarinet Choir

Happy New Year!!  No rehearsals for Jazz Band, Flute Choir, or Clarinet Choir this week.  All ensembles will begin rehearsals during the week of January 10.

Thanks to the Flute & Clarinet Choirs for caroling around ECMS Friday before school.  Your music helped spread holiday cheer!!  We will not meet for rehearsals again until the week of January 10.

Flute & Clarinet Choir Update - December 2 - 10

Here’s the scoop for Flute & Clarinet Choir for the rest of 2010:

• Tuesday, December 7 @ 8:15 am – Clarinet & Flute Choir rehearsal
• Thursday, December 9 @ 8:15 am – Clarinet & Flute Choir rehearsal
• Friday, December 10 @ 8:15 am – Clarinet & Flute Choir,

Meet in the Band Room & DON”T BE LATE; we’ll leave the Band Room no later than 8:30 am to spread musical holiday cheer throughout ECMS

 Wear Band Shirt or ECMS shirt & jeans on Friday, December 10.  Festive hats would be fun too!!!

AFTER CAROLING DECEMBER 10, WE WILL NOT REHEARSE UNTIL THE WEEK OF JANUARY 10!!!

Flute & Clarinet Choir Upcoming Performances

All Flute & Clarinet Choir members should make note of 2 upcoming performances.  One is on Saturday, April 24, and the other is on Monday, May 3.

NO rehearsals on February 9 or 11.

THANKS for your hard work and your great performances as of late.  We'll start rehearsing again next week.

Upcoming Flute and Clarinet Choir Performances

The Flute and Clarinet Choir students have 2 upcoming performance opportunies.  The first is on Tuesday, January 26 at the Reflections Reception.  Students performing for this event will meet Mrs. Holbrook at the Wheeler HS auditorium at 5:50pm.  The second performance is at ECMS for International Night on February 4.  Students should meet Mrs. Holbrook in the band room at 5:45 pm.

Students who are planning to perform MUST have the appropriate permission slips signed and returned to Mrs. Holbrook in order to take part in these events!
