2009 - 2010 ECMS PTSA submitted two articles for the PTA 9th District National Standards Awards:
Criteria – Please submit a brief narrative about how your PTA/PTSA is currently implementing the National Standards for Family School Partnerships which are:
Standard 1: Welcoming all families into the school community
Standard 2: Communicating effectively
Standard 3: Supporting student success
Standard 4: Speaking up for every child
Standard 5: Sharing power
Standard 6: Collaborating with community
Please describe the highlights of your programs in 150 words or less. Click herefor more information about the PTA National Standards for Family School Partnerships as well as a wealth of related information and ideas.
Local units or councils may submit reports in any or all of the standards areas.
Awards will be given at the 9th District Spring Conference on April 27th.
